BIOG

Gaz has been a photographer for over 30 years and has been extensively published in many books, calendars, magazines, on TV and online, as well as in UK campaigns for the charities Terrence Higgins Trust and Diversity Role Models.

His theatre work has seen him shoot many UK independent productions including award winning Edinburgh Fringe shows for Glenn Chandler (Boys of the Empire Productions) and is the in-house photographer for The Above The Stag Theatre (the only UK LGBTQ+ theatre) shooting over 60 productions for them. Productions include the legendary yearly Pantomimes, the award winning Grindr - the Opera, Andy Bell in Torsten - the Beautiful Libertine and Queereteria TV, as well as Jonathan Harvey’s plays: Beautiful Thing, Rupert Street Lonely Hearts Club, Boom Bang-a-Bang and the acclaimed musical Closer to Heaven (music and lyrics by the Pet Shop Boys).

Gaz has been a supporter of the Make a Difference Trust (Theatre MAD) for over 8 years producing production and promotional shots and became their in-house photographer in 2018. He also co-ordinates photography on their shows, including West End Bares, West End Eurovision and A West End Christmas, working with top West End casts including Hamilton, Everybodys Talking About Jamie, Book Of Mormon, Les Misérables, and Phantom of The Opera, to name just a few. He is very proud to have worked on the West End Bares calendars over the years including photographing Sir Michael Ball for the 2016 calendar cover and 2019 became Creative Director on the 10th Anniversary Calendar project - the success of which raised thousands for those living with HIV and AIDS in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.

He is very proud to be associated with the #cheerupcharlie campaign and shot production photos for the Cheer Up Charlie Concert at the Actors Church, London. His own project SingOut, LGBT+ cast and creatives portraits as part of an awareness campaign for the anti bullying charity - Diversity Role Models.
